The Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers (FUURT) and the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc) organize the Eurodoc conference for the first time in Finland with the title: “Research career – a living dream?” at the University of Tampere, on April 18–19, 2018.

A new, three-year research project hopes to discover what could attract young in Russia and Finland to the Arctic. The Finnish part of the project is hosted by the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland and funded by the Academy of Finland.
