The Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF), the biodiversity Working Group of the Arctic Council, is seeking individuals and organizations to provide abstracts, organize sessions and submit posters that will encourage a dialogue on Arctic biodiversity at the Arctic Biodiversity Congress 2018. Deadline: March 30, 2018.

The 2017 Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit conference brings together academia, policy-makers and other stakeholders to discuss pressing Arctic issues and ways to build a sustainable future through circumpolar cooperation. Several UArctic representatives are also panelists or speakers in the conference and its side events.


The theme of the 2017 Relate North symposium and exhibition is "Art and Design for Education and Sustainability", emphasizing the collaboration between academic institutions, communities and business. The symposium takes place at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland on Nov 9-13, 2017.



The five-day interdisciplinary event, taking place alongside the Arctic Frontiers conference in Tromsø, Norway in January 2018, brings together students from across the world with interest in the Arctic.
