At the Arctic Circle Assembly 2023 in Reykjavik Nord University and the University of Alaska Anchorage signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation.

On October 20, Minik Rosing became the winner of the third Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Award (FP Award). Though he received the award in 2023, the groundwork for his winning initiative was laid almost a decade ago.

The preparations for the Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit conference are almost complete. In November, the event will make Rovaniemi the focal point for Arctic discussion in Finland.
