The book "Education, Equity and Inclusion - Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable North" launch event was celebrated on Monday 21st November 2022 at the University of Lapland and on Friday 25th November 2022 at Finnish Educational Research Association Conference in Oulu, Finland.

The Læra Institute is delighted to have taken part in the first in-person workshop of the University of Washington's (UW's) "Co-designing Civic Education for the Circumpolar North" project, which took place in Rovaniemi and Ánar/Inari, Finland, from 10th to 14th October.

This hybrid workshop is part of NordForsk funded NOS-HS explorative workshop series focusing on Intersectional Gender Equality in Academia in the Arctic North. The workshop will take place 30 November 2022 in Oulu, Finland and online.

The Arctic Academy for Sustainability 2023, organised by the UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Sustainable Resources and Social Responsibility, is being hosted by the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in May 2023.
