However, for this to become a reality, you need to submit your application. The deadline is September 1, 2024. Before that, you have the opportunity to attend two events that will increase your chances of being selected as a finalist:

  • Arctic Hub's online info meeting about Paasisavut on August 6. Here, you'll learn how to apply and what to expect from the process if you are among the five finalists (please note that this will be the final info meeting). Register here: https://www.paasisavut.gl/en/infomeeting-august
  • Arctic Hub's application workshop on August 15, is where you get help to record the video required for your application as well as feedback on your pitch. Register here: https://www.paasisavut.gl/en/applicationworkshop

The competition is open to PhD students and those who have completed their PhD within the last two years. Researchers worldwide can apply if their PhD project is directly related to Greenland.
